Title:

Configuration Management Analyst

KBR is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to join our Team . This position provides technical and analytical logistic support services for integration and sustainment planning to the Kuwait F/A-18 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program in Lexington Park, MD.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responds to direction from company manager/supervisor. Provides, supports and complies with a variety of company activities (e.g. required/contractual training, special projects, proposals, data calls, etc.)
  • Develop, review, and analyze required FMS case documentation and supporting data. Develop acquisition documents in accordance with applicable Department of Defense (DoD) directives. Prepare formal letters, informal memoranda, presentations, point papers, and general correspondence
  • Collects, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft and product programs. Maintains configuration control of acquisition products and data.
  • Tracks configuration changes and coordinates and supports development of Engineering Change Proposals. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management
  • The Contractor shall maintain organized files of all program documentation and track all action items and taskers

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop appropriate documentation in accordance with applicable DoD directives; prepare formal letters, informal memoranda, point papers, presentations and other general correspondence.
  • Prepare all documentation in accordance with Navy correspondence guidelines.
  • Provide program management (PM) services for the Program Management Activity (PMA) 265 Kuwait IPTs in support of F/A-18 technical publications and coordinate with Logistics Element Managers (LEMs) for publication delivery and technical data delivery.
  • Coordinate, support, attend and participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), technical coordination meetings, conferences, briefings and other significant program activities and events. The Contractor representative in attendance shall identify and analyze issues, record action items, recommend preferred courses of action to resolve action items, and prepare draft minutes from the meeting.
  • Develop plans of action and milestones to execute requirements.
  • Support technology transfer activities by developing required documentation, applying appropriate DoD markings and routing packages for foreign disclosure release reviews.
  • Track milestones and action items based on review and analysis of LOAs, contract schedules, In-Service Support Plan and other pertinent documentation.
  • This is not a remote position.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, and an additional five (5) years' experience in technical program planning and implementation, contract interpretation, budget development and administration of government projects. Experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.

OR

  • AS or AA degree, and an additional eight (8) years' experience in technical program planning and implementation, contract interpretation, budget development and administration of government projects can be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
  • Must have an active secret level security clearance.
  • Must be able to travel as needed for Regular CONUS and OCUNUS travel (~15%) to various customer meeting locations.
  • Must be able to obtain a US Passport.
  • Must be able to work on customer site, daily.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of United States Navy (USN) Defense Message Dissemination System (DMDS).
  • Hold active account(s) or have working knowledge of; Acquisition Manage System Tool (AMS), Boeing Exostar (CM Clues), NAVSUP One Touch, OIX Message Traffic and NATEC.
  • Experience with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM), Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDR), Interim Rapid Action Changes (IRAC) and Technical Directives (TD).
  • Familiarity with SECNAV and OPNAV forms, Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests, Work Requests, and supply requisitions.
  • Knowledge of NAVAIR FMS and Defense Security Assistance Programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in program/project status.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience.
