Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Regional Operation Command and Control Center of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII.

Responsibilities You will collaborate with federal, state, and local emergency response organizations to coordinate emergency response operations. You will create after action and lessons learned reports at the conclusion of emergency management exercises.

You will brief emergency management staff, organization staff, and local municipalities on day-to-day situations to keep them informed of emergency situations.

You will oversee an organization's emergency management training and exercise operations.

You will coordinate a regional response to disasters that exceed the capabilities of local organizations to assist in their recovery.

You will develop emergency management exercises with staff (e.g.

first responders, essential personnel, mutual aid agencies) to coordinate efforts in responding to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosive (CBRNE) incidents.

Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as command advisor on all emergency management/Chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high yield explosives (EM/CBRNE) policies and plans; 2) Ensuring training programs meet the emergency management standards; 3) Analyzing emergency response info and recommend changes to meet command requirements; 4) Using knowledge of Emergency Management/Chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high yield explosives (EM/CBRNE) to detect incidents and protect personnel from attacks
