Senior Network Infrastructure Techninican (Network Engineer)

Job Summary:
This position is a Senior Network Infrastructure Technician (Network Engineer) for the Roselle School District for the School Year. Position to start on July 1, 2024.

Qualifications:

• Hold 8+ years of related experience as a Network Engineer.
• Hold 5+ years of related experience in a Juniper Network environment (Cisco experience may be substituted, if willing to learn Juniper).
• Experience with Linux-based DHCP server, Linux-based Virtualization, and Linux-OS/Devices.
• Ability to install, repair and maintain all servers, switches, systems and related technologies.
• Ability to take an active role in preventative maintenance, implementation of new technologies, evaluation of existing hardware/software systems and solution-building.
• Ability to implement and maintain local and offsite backup and recovery systems.
• Ability to build, maintain, manage and recover Cisco IP-based Phone systems.
• Ability to build, maintain, manage and recover Cloud-Print servers.
• Ability to install, configure and maintain cloud-controlled Security Cameras and associated technologies.
• Knowledge of Audio/Video production equipment.
• Responsible for the overall connectivity of district devices.
• Must have excellent oral, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and promote a safe and secure learning environment.
