JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the observation of Harrah's/Harveys Lake Tahoe properties in order to deter and detect cheating, theft, and other activities that endanger the safety of Caesar's guests, employees and property.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Observes all casino games in order to deter and catch cheating activities.
  • Observes all Caesar's assets and money handling areas in order to deter and catch theft activities.
  • Monitors all high security areas for suspicious activities in order to report such activities and ensure the safety of Caesar's guests, employees, and property.
  • Enters and retrieves information from computer database and hard copy files in order to utilize such information in surveillance activities.
  • Checks all cameras, DVR's and operating equipment to ensure their proper effectiveness in surveillance activities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of 90 Day Checklist
  • Successful completion of 500 hours of surveillance monitor room experience.
  • Successful completion of Segment I of the NUTS & BOLTS TRAINING PROGRAM
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Literate and fluent in English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to remain anonymous to customers and team members in order to observe live gaming or money handling areas.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Good math skills.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to use repetitive motion, reach, grasp, hold, finger dexterity.
  • Ability to hear, see and have color distinction; vision correctable to 20/20. Vision testing may be required.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs
  • Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Mobility skills to move quickly and easily around the property
