Responsibilities of the Rescue Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Onsite Rescue Technicians oversee Safety Watch, CSE, and Spark Watch.
  • Responsible for Confined Space Rescue and High Angle Rescue Equipment.
  • Assessment and development of rescue plans.
  • Manage relations with contractors and clients regarding daily activities.
  • Conduct on-site confined space rescues.
  • Assist clients with hazard assessments, lockout/tag out procedures, permit integrity, and personal protective equipment use.
  • Lead safety meetings and hazard assessments with on-site employees.
  • Ensure client compliance with safety legislation.
  • Address client and contractor concerns related to HSE Integrated onsite duties.
  • Handle Safety Watch deployment, rescue equipment rigging, inspection, and other assignments.

Qualifications of the Rescue Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Proficiency in all HSE Integrated documentation and protocols.
  • Knowledge of training systems, rig in/out procedures, onsite evaluation systems, trailer maintenance, and incident reporting.
  • Familiarity with client permitting systems and Codes of Practice.

Education: High School Diploma.
