  • Position: Ultrasound Technician

  • Location: Macon, GA

  • Shift Timings: 7PM - 7AM - Friday, Saturday, Sunday

  • Contract: 13 weeks with possibility of extension

  • Start Date: Flexible dates in June


Job Description:


  • Prioritizes and coordinates ultrasound exams with medical units, radiologists, and physicians.
  • Conducts ultrasound exams following departmental guidelines. Offers proper patient care for each requested exam.
  • Operates ultrasound equipment proficiently and accurately.

  • Examines requests and confirms orders for each patient.
  • Supports the Patient-Centered Care Philosophy, recognizing each staff member as a caregiver focused on meeting patient needs.

Skills:
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (S) certification needed. BLS HCP certification from AHA required. Strong interpersonal skills.


Certifications & Licenses:


  • Registered or eligible for registry through ARRT or ARDMS.


Job Type: Contract

Pay: Competitive weekly pay

Schedule:
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Night shifts
  • Weekends only
