You will be tasked with:

  • Thoroughly reviewing technical and non-technical materials to extract critical information (e.g., police reports, medical/autopsy records, expert reports, photographs)

  • Effectively conveying findings through presentations and written reports
  • Translating technical details into layman's terms suitable for varied audiences
  • Managing projects while ensuring cost efficiency
  • Participating actively in research, publishing technical reports, presenting findings at conferences, and promoting the group's capabilities to clients and the scientific realm
  • At Exponent, we highlight the significance of face-to-face interactions as they enhance employee engagement, foster team development, and drive a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that values every individual's sense of belonging. Our expectation is that consultants engage physically in the office unless on client-related travel or business.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Biomechanics, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience or familiarity with technical analyses on injury potential, mechanisms, and mitigation in accidents (not obligatory)
