Functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, you will take the lead in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Your role includes maximizing profitability, enhancing customer satisfaction, promoting teamwork, safeguarding company assets, and minimizing losses. Responsibilities involve unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, assisting customers, and operating the cash register.

  • Stock merchandise, rotate and face items on shelves, and create product displays.
  • Restock returned and recovered goods.
  • Assist with order zones, drop shipment categories, and plan-o-gram implementation.
  • Help customers find products they need.

Aside from these tasks, you will perform general store maintenance like cleaning the floors and greeting customers, ensuring a welcoming shopping environment. Additionally, you will operate the register, bag merchandise, organize store displays, and follow company policies and procedures to guarantee a smooth shopping experience for customers.

  • Maintain register countertops, implement plan-o-grams, and handle cash transactions.
  • Help in setting up sidewalk displays and maintaining a clean, organized store.
  • Execute store opening and closing procedures as instructed.

In the Absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager:
Assume responsibilities such as counting the register and making bank deposits, ensuring cashier accountability, and monitoring cash levels. You should have knowledge of cash handling procedures, cashier accountability, and safety policies to maintain a secure store environment.

  • Supervisory experience or related training preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
