∙ Schedule:
1st Shift, Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM or 8AM-4:30PM.
Daily functions:
Will be responsible for providing high level support to the Accounting and Administration department.
Research and resolve problems related to Accounts receivable, Accounts Payable and will assist with Administration issues.
Assist in identifying and improving service and operations related issues for the department.
Prepare, handle and process documentation-including negative balance sheets, cash management, collections, monthly and yearly reports.
Accurate and timely data entry – ensure all data is entered correctly before submitting.
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, co-workers and with Nippon offices worldwide.
Maintain compliance standards-including internal policies, procedures, government regulations and customer requirements.
Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, answering phones, processing mail (incoming and dispersal).
Handle communication with clients, vendors and co-workers via phone, email and in-person.
Assisting with discrepancies and inquiries from the Shared Service Center.
Weekly report to GM on collections and AR reporting.
Monthly Payment to Koa Insurance - Review branch reports and compare data to the accounting system figures.
Prepare various reports to be submitted to Regional and Head office.
Manage monthly closing for Minneapolis office and reporting results to GM.
Oversee Accounts Payable, Account Receivable and Reconciliation of each account code balance.
Other duties assigned by GM.
Desired qualifications:
1 to 3 years accounting experience required.
High level of confidentiality required.
Prior experience with Accounts Receivable, SAP and AS400 is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
