We're Hiring: Lead Mechanic/Chief Inspector for a Premier Aviation Repair Station

Join our team as a Lead Mechanic/Chief Inspector and play a pivotal role in our aviation repair station. Renowned for crafting top-tier, high-performance engines, we are in search of a seasoned professional to spearhead the inspection department. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct non-destructive testing and manage assembly operations.
  • Train, supervise, and support personnel within the repair station as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and Airworthiness Directives.
  • Oversee calibration checks to keep tools and equipment up to date.
  • Supervise all inspection phases, from initial receipt to the final approval for return to service.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation.
  • Identify defects, report unairworthy conditions, and adhere to QA procedures rigorously.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in aircraft engine maintenance or building.
  • Must hold a Powerplant license; Inspection Authorization (IA) not required but advantageous.
  • Level II/III NDT certification is preferred.
  • Profound knowledge of reciprocating aircraft engines and their functionalities.
  • Experience with Lycoming and Continental engine models is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage team interactions.
