As a Radiologic Technologist at UPMC, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures independently, demonstrating advanced technical skills, and ensuring quality patient care. This role requires working days with occasional rotations to outpatient sites.



Responsibilities:
  • Performs QA, regulatory testing, and technical procedures.
  • Demonstrates competency in specialty equipment and data analysis.
  • Monitors quality control and provides patient care based on protocols.
  • Functions independently, handles off shifts, and works at satellite facilities.
  • Collaborates with Radiologists on protocol development.
  • Assists in staff and student technologist training.
  • Graduate of an ARRT approved school with 2 years of Diagnostic experience.
  • Licensing and certification requirements apply.
  • Must have a strong/solid/good performance review for promotion eligibility.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • ARRT certified in Radiography
  • CPR or BLS Required
  • Act 31, 33, 34, and 73 clearances
