Job Summary:

The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing a 60-bed SNF unit, managing nurses and certified staff in delivering care efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include supervising daily duties, collaborating with nursing administration, evaluating staff performance, managing treatments and schedules, and ensuring health and safety of residents and staff. Act as a liaison between families and healthcare staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage skilled nursing unit and nursing staff.
  • Monitor nursing documentation daily.
  • Evaluate treatment plans based on resident conditions.
  • Review and educate staff on performance.
  • Advocate for residents and health staff.
  • Perform admission and discharge assessments.
  • Administer medications as needed.
  • Assist with administrative duties.
  • Act as a liaison between families and healthcare staff.
  • Available for on-call shifts, including weekends.

Required Experience:

  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
