Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility, Inc. is looking for a dedicated professional to fill the role of Materials Handler at our Distribution Center in New Castle, DE. As a vital member of the Warehouse Team, the Materials Handler will oversee material movement, product staging, inventory maintenance, and more.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Foster collaboration between the Warehouse and SCM pillars.
  • Receive and organize incoming deliveries.
  • Build Production Orders and KIT materials.
  • Ship materials via LTL & Freight.
  • Conduct Cycle Counts within the Warehouse.
  • Process Repair & Aftermarket materials.

To excel in this role, you need:

  • Required education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Relevant professional experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and carrier coordination.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Suite.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Prior experience in a corporate environment.
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar contracts.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Mobility Inc material movement processes.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of safety principles in an industrial setting.
  • Adaptability to change and process improvement.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
