While our Advanced Reporting Engineers are involved in multiple things throughout the Technology organization, primarily they are responsible for working with the Technology and the Business teams to design, build, and implement amazing analytics content and product reports.

These Team Members are also charged with assisting the Client Success department in resolving issues relating to Analytics content and reports.

The Advanced Reporting Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as well.

WHAT YOU'LL DOWork with product and business users to establish reporting and analytic requirements.
Design and develop enterprise and departmental business intelligence, interactive analytic dashboards, and performant reporting solutions.
Develop and update existing and new content from Looker used to extract and collect data from Snowflake. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the validation of the artifacts to ensure accuracy and quality within.
Develop and maintain a variety of report types, including but not limited to tabular, drill down, matrix, charts.
Contribute to the development efforts of back-end Looker measures, dimensions, etc.

Grow to serve as subject-matter expert for Looker content and reports for the Analytics engineering team by developing routines and procedures for end-users, both internal and external, to facilitate best practice use of reporting tools and applications.

Attends to any work items assigned through the internal case system in a timely fashionTakes ownership of work items assigned, communicates estimates and daily progress as part of the SDLC process, and actively works to resolve issues blocking progressAssists in the QA processParticipates, as required, in Production Code Turn days, providing instructions for deploying the code changes successfully, and for Smoke Testing code post-releaseDevelops and maintains open and fluid communication with ManagementDevelops and maintains a positive relationship with other team membersHandles assignments that require moderate technical and/or business domain research, with minimal oversightAssists in the creation and/or approving of technical specificationsAssists in identifying areas in the application that need to be refactoredWHAT YOU'LL NEED5+ years related experience with MS SQL and visualization (Microsoft BI/Tableau/Looker) tooling.5+ years related experience in report writing, analytics, visualizations, and dashboard creation.2+ years related experience in data warehouse architecture, structures, and fundamental design principals (Snowflake).Ensure effective communication of user requirements.

Ability to facilitate meetings and delegate responsibilitiesExcellent communication skills (verbal and written), the drive to succeed and work independently and on a team, with the ability to multitask, and deliver quality results.
