Join our Team - Prosthetic Representative Position

Company: WRJ VAMC, Prosthetic Service

The WRJ VAMC Prosthetic Service is looking to add a dedicated Prosthetic Representative to their team. In this full-time position (40hrs per week), you will be responsible for completing various assignments and projects independently to support the health and independence of Veteran services. Your role will involve providing prosthetic and sensory aids, overseeing laboratory operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

  • Location: White River Junction, VT - Remote job
  • Travel: 50% or less expected for this position
  • Appointment type: Permanent
  • Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30

Duties:

  • Completes various prosthetic representative, technical, programmatic, and administrative duties independently.
  • Manages contracting and procurement assignments for prosthetic and orthotic devices.
  • Monitors compliance reports, procurement status, and compliance metrics.
  • Procures materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring FDA approval for surgical implants.
  • Interacts with Veterans, caregivers, and clinical staff to provide guidance on benefit programs and prosthetic items.

Qualifications: Applicants must meet grade-specific requirements based on experience and education levels:

  • Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship, experience or education related to health care, public administration, or business.
  • Specialized Programs: Candidates should have knowledge and experience in specialized prosthetic programs.
