Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team near Duncan, OK, for locum tenens coverage. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide essential orthopaedic care in an outpatient setting with a focus on call coverage.
Practice Setting
  • Practice Setting: Outpatient
  • Coverage Type: Call Only
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Patients Per Shift: To be determined
  • Bed in Department: 0
Responsibilities
  • ED Call Coverage:
    • First week: Thursday @ 7am to Monday @ 7am
    • Second week: Friday @ 7am to Monday @ 7am
    • Ongoing coverage, subject to potential adjustments upon arrival of additional local physicians.
  • Availability: Must be reachable within 15 minutes and present in the building (when needed) within 30 minutes during on-call periods.
Qualifications
  • Licensure: Must be licensed in Oklahoma or part of the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
  • Certifications Required:
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
  • Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 60-90 days
  • Fellowship: Not required
