Silver Springs Care Center is looking for a 16 hour Central Supply Clerk with CNA certification.

The primary role of this position is to maintain, order, stock and control distribution of nursing supplies for nursing department.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out and perform assigned duties in the nursing department, and completes on-going competency requirements as required
  • Must perform all assigned tasks in accordance with the Facility's established policies and procedures and as instructed by the DNS, and/ or Administrator or as directed by supervisory staff.
  • Complies with local, state and federal regulations relating to responsibilities of record maintenance and supply management. This includes the Code of Conduct, Resident Rights and Corporate Compliance; also serves as a mandatory reporter of all resident related incidents

Qualifications:

  • Must possess an active CT CNA Certification.
  • Prefer working knowledge (experience preferred) with various software programs such as WORD, EXCEL, as well as electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write the English language clearly and understandably.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
