Location/Division: Hillsboro, OR / Materials & Structural Analysis

You will be leading a development team dedicated to creating software automation for semiconductor processes, delivering crucial wafer-to-atomic data that allows customers to make informed decisions promptly.

Your responsibilities:
  • Develop control software to automate SEM process workflows in a fabrication setting
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders across different time zones
  • Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing
  • Support customers through specifications review and on-site integration validation
  • Oversee team performance and professional development
  • Contribute to the Annual Operating Plan by forecasting resources for the software product roadmap
  • Make critical technical decisions influencing product development
Requirements to thrive in this role:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • 5+ years of proven software engineering experience within a team environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills within a team setting
  • Proficiency in software engineering practices, agile processes, and unit testing
  • Ability to grasp new problem domains quickly, create solid designs, and implement well-structured code
  • Strong analytical and empirical problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in equipment manufacturing, electron microscopy, or semiconductor industry
  • Experience in developing automated capital equipment
