Job Title: Patient Care Director, Inpatient Rehab Unit (IRC)

Purpose & Scope:

  • This professional RN manages the department 24/7.
  • Develops goals, standards, policies, and procedures for patient care services.
  • Organizes the department to deliver specified nursing services in alignment with the hospital's mission and vision.
  • Ensures compliance with Standards of Nursing Practice for optimal healthcare delivery.

Education:

  • Bachelor's from an Accredited School of Nursing is required.
  • Master's in Nursing, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration is preferred.

Experience:

  • 3 years of Nursing Leadership preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in clinical specialty required.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Registered Nurse licensed by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required.
  • Compact State Licensure in Nursing required.
  • BLS Certification required.
