Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor with daily activities by accurately processing and recording vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position will support Nestle Health Science's Garden of Life and Solgar brands. This is also a hybrid role that will work up to 2 days a week onsite at our Nestle Health Science office located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and the rest remotely - Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm ET).

Responsibilities:

Assists the Accounts Payable Supervisor with payable processing: Receives, organizes, obtains approval and codes invoices in an accurate and timely fashion.
* Serves as a backup to the AP Supervisor with payment processing: using various methods such as checks, ACH and wires, adhering to payment terms and company policies.
* Ensures all outstanding invoices due are approved on time by individual Department Managers
* Assists with month-end reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Sets up and maintains AP vendor profiles.
* Perform monthly accounts reconciliations for sister company transactions.
* Audit all iExpense employee expense reports.
* Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned by direct Manager.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or in a related fields preferred.
* 2+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting, preferably in an Accounts Payable role.
* Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Outlook/PowerPoint) and in Excel (V-Look-Ups/Pivot Tables/Charts) required.
* Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, organizational and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships).
* Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize duties or tasks based on the needs of the business.
* Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Must be team-oriented and customer-service oriented.
* Experience with Oracle or other Accounting software programs is highly desired.
* General knowledge of GAAP or Accounting procedures a plus.
