About the Position:
Educators at Montbello High School will deliver grade-level content, subject-specific lesson plans, and support Personal Development following DPS curriculum standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all students in developing competence and confidence simultaneously through a mix of fundamental skill acquisition and conceptual understanding.
  • Oversee, manage, coordinate, and uphold behavioral standards for students, promoting positive behaviors in alignment with school and District guidelines.
  • Assess, evaluate, report, and document student performance, behavior, social growth, and physical well-being.
  • Collaborate with parents or guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to address student academic and behavioral issues.
  • Develop educational course outlines, goals, and materials as per curriculum standards or local and state requirements.
  • Deliver subject matter to students using varied teaching techniques and technology, adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
A Master's Degree is mandatory for Concurrent Enrollment roles.

  • Possess a valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license.
