Our client, a family-owned,leading manufacturer of luxury kitchen appliances in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an EHS Specialist. This person will sit out of a new site leading & implementing safety protocols.

Job Title: EHS Specialist

Location: Goodyear, AZ 85395

Pay Range: $95k-$105k Base + 4-6% Bonus + 10% Profit Sharing

What's the Job?

  • Assure multi-site implementation of company safety policies and procedures with respect to employee health and safety, occupational safety and health regulatory compliance, and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct routine internal safety audits.
  • Conduct accident investigations with results focusing on root causes and corrective actions.
  • Ensure safe procedures are developed and implemented for new equipment and newer technologies such as robotics, lasers, radiation, and other hazardous processes.
  • Conduct or coordinate effective dissemination of safety initiatives through direct training including required compliance training, technical training, and new employee orientation/readiness training.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's or better in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Employee Health and Safety role in a manufacturing environment. NOT construction industry.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, environmental and Workers Compensation regulations.
