Assist physicians in diagnosing and treatingdiseases and defects of the airway and pleural space in theBronchoscopy/Interventional Pulmonology Lab. Specialize in theadvanced care of patients undergoing interventional bronchoscopyand pleural procedures. Support the development of other staff andformal learners.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED:
Bachelor of Science in RespiratoryCare
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
Five years of progressive workexperience in respiratory care
MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:
Registered by the National Board forRespiratory Care as an RRT.
Licensed by the State ofGeorgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners as aRespiratory CareProfessional.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
Must be availableto travel off site and out of state for specialty training invarious medical centers and vendor locations.
Must beable to understand, troubleshoot and work with highly complexmedical equipment in an operating room setting.
Priorsupervisory experience preferred.
Excellent clinicaldecision making skills and critical thinking to assess patientcare, good verbal and written communication skill, proficient withWindows-based computer applications and email.
