JOB TITLE: Quality Inspector at MBP

This job listing is for a qualified inspector with experience in QA or QC for large scale projects in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety trades.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inspections and quality oversight to ensure compliance with contract documents, building codes, and industry standards
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned divisions of work
  • Proactively work with contractors, designers, and owners to identify and resolve issues
  • Prepare reports, review RFIs and submittals, conduct mock-up reviews, develop punchlists, maintain project logs, verify payment applications and schedules, coordinate work activities, assist other inspectors, and perform assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology
  • Training or experience in building construction, engineering, project management, or related fields
  • Advanced knowledge of drawings and specifications
  • OSHA certification required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, project management software, and BIM experience is a plus

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work on-site, climb ladders, work at heights, and in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license required

  • Background checks and reference verification will be conducted
  • Must be a United States Citizen
