Join usPurpose of Job:
Sales associates provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance. Sales associates maintain the condition of the sales floor, ensuring that it is clean and shoppable. They will also make deliveries and test/install car batteries.

Job Components:
Provide fast, friendly serviceActively seek out and take interest in customersOffer a friendly greeting, smile, and make eye contact with customersAsk open ended questions in order to determine customer needsIs knowledgeable about productsAdvise customers about member benefits, promotions, and sales while answering questions about merchandiseDescribe features and benefits of merchandiseDrive sales by discussing available options (good, better, best) and suggesting related itemsSet and achieve personal sales goalsAssist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandiseEnsure store is in-stock, clean, and shoppableManage financial transactionsTest and install batteries including car/truck batteriesMay use company vehicle to make local deliveriesQualifications & Requirements:At least 18 years of agePrevious retail experience is preferredPrevious delivery driving experience is preferredValid Drivers License and clean driving record are requiredAbility to successfully complete a pre-employment criminal background checkRegular attendance is requiredAbility to work Saturdays and some holidays

Work Environment:
Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, climbing, kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 80 pounds.
Work involves some irregularities and difficulties with repetitive and varied tasks.

Primarily retail store setting, however, frequently exposed to dirt, dust, fumes, temperature extremes, dampness and battery acid as is normal to warehouse environment in this businessStress associated with workplace pressure and the retail environment.
