Driver Safety Coordinator_, you'll ensure compliance and maintain employee safety. We're looking for someone who can work with minimum supervision, has strong analytical and organizational skills, and is detail-oriented.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures by local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientation, ongoing safety education, and emergency response training.
- Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and retraining of drivers
- Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files
- Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications
- Ensure all State inspections, registrations and Insurance IDs for trucks are current
- Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A1 Inspection procedures
- Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 35 years' proven safety/ramp experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Indepth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with large groups must be flexible
Pay:
Up to $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
