Vice President Treasurer

We are partnering with a manufacturing company who is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Vice President Treasurer to join their executive team This individual will function as a key leader on the treasury team responsible for the intricate management of the company's financial assets, debt arrangements, and liquidity strategies on a global scale.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies for managing the company's financial assets and liabilities.
Lead debt management activities, including negotiating loan terms and optimizing debt structures.
Monitor and analyze financial risks, implementing appropriate risk management strategies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
Manage relationships with banking partners, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in treasury management.
Expertly manage asset-backed loans (ABL) and debt arrangements.
Ensure accurate borrowing base certificate calculations and compliance.
Drive initiatives for enhanced cash efficiency.
Maximize liquidity through internal optimizations and external tools.
Balance liquidity and tax efficiency in collaboration with the VP of Tax.
Engage with lenders for advantageous financing terms.
Ensure compliance with "effective hedge accounting" treatment.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and corporate policies.
Implement hedge accounting practices for risk management.
Lead treasury function, focusing on process improvement and system leverage.
Drive working capital improvements and key analytics.
Leverage multinational experience, particularly in the Americas, Europe, and South America.
Address financial challenges unique to global manufacturing.
Work closely with the CFO team, Corporate Controller, and VP of Tax for end-to-end accounting and tax management.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant certification preferred.
10+ years of treasury management experience.
Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
Proven expertise in ABL and debt management, including borrowing base calculations and TL compliance.
Deep understanding of treasury functions, cash management, and liquidity strategies.
Familiarity with hedge accounting and cross-currency exposure mitigation.
Leadership skills in managing lender relationships and a detail-oriented approach to treasury management.
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
