The Role:
The Accountant position includes a hybrid work model, allowing a mix of in-office and remote work.

  • Assist with maintaining the general ledger, such as setting up new branches, cost centers, and other parameters.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries to facilitate the financial close process.
  • Aid in reviewing reconciliations and addressing open items as necessary.
  • Support in the maintenance of the Company's reporting system.
  • Handle data gathering and preparation of regulatory reports in collaboration with the Senior Accountant.
  • Create and manage electronic spreadsheets and files.
  • Address accounting inquiries from other departments.
  • Provide financial information to department managers when required.
  • Assist in data collection for reports, examinations, and tax returns.
  • Develop and update written procedures for each responsibility.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Complete assigned projects and contribute to departmental initiatives.
  • Act as a backup for specific Accounting Clerk tasks and work on special projects.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and reporting.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail for precise data preparation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated independence in work approach.
