Job Position: Dental Hygienist at Contemporary Dentistry

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Contemporary Dentistry of Centreville. As a key member of our dental care team, you will help enhance the oral health of our patients and contribute to their overall well-being. Joining our experienced group of dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dental services.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and scaling for patients of all age groups.
  • Evaluate and document patients' oral health status and conduct X-rays when necessary.
  • Create personalized treatment plans with a focus on preventive care and patient education.
  • Offer guidance to patients on proper oral hygiene practices and at-home care routines.
  • Administer necessary local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
  • Collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to ensure a seamless patient journey.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and treatment documentation.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
  • Valid state dental hygiene license, CPR, and certification in local anesthesia.
  • Proficient in dental X-ray procedures and analysis.
  • Effective communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated compassion and dedication to patient well-being.
  • High level of attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with current dental technologies and software.
