Messer's Talent Team has an opening for a Campus Recruiting Intern for Fall 2024 (Early August - November 2024). This is a part-time position (~15 hours a week) beginning early August and ending mid-November. Exact hours will be during normal working hours (M-F 9am - 5pm EST) but exact days / hours are flexible.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Support Talent Team in executing the end-to-end recruitment strategy and cycle for interns and Graduate Development Program (GDP)
- Handle applicant flow through ATS and other systems, including screening candidates for basic qualifications, initiating assessments, troubleshooting with candidates, and advising candidates of status updates as needed
- Connect with applicants, recruiters, and business team members to schedule and confirm candidate interviews, which could include virtual interviews, panels, in-person or career hiring events
- Ensure candidates have a positive experience throughout the hiring process while positioning Messer as an employer of choice
- Ensure accurate applicant statuses via ATS and MS Excel
- Coordinate and schedule candidate travel arrangements for in-person interviews
- Manage tracking calendar for recruiting events and ship necessary recruiting materials
- Aid in the strategizing and execution of candidate recruiting events to include: Candidate outreach, event design & execution, candidate follow up, and evaluation
- Evaluate overall recruiting strategy and activities to guide future enhancements
- Other recruiting administrative projects and tasks as assigned
- Undergraduate, Rising Junior or Senior
- Qualifying majors of study:
- Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in Human Resources, I-O Psychology, Business, Data Analytics, or similar
- Must be detail-oriented with proven organizational skills.
- Must be innovative, analytical, and self-motivated to complete tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image.
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Word and Excel and have the ability to learn computer-based applications.
- Must have the ability to safeguard confidential information.
- Prior co-op or internship experience a plus
- Extracurricular activities that show leadership skills considered
- Commitment to Safety and the Environment
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) a plus but not required
- Experience with MS Power Automate a plus but not required
