Hitch Service Technician Primary Responsibilities:

• Understand and explain U-Haul's range of towing packages
• Recommend and install appropriate tow packages on customer vehicles
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support
• Additional assigned duties
• Engage in continuous education through U-Haul University

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Environment:

The role may involve moderate risks or discomforts that necessitate special safety measures, like operating around moving parts or chemicals. Protective gear like masks, goggles, and gloves may be required. During slow periods, cleaning and parking trucks might be necessary.

Physical Demands:

The job involves physical exertion, including long periods indoors and outdoors, lifting a minimum of 50 lbs., and using tools. U-Haul maintains a healthy work environment by not hiring individuals who use nicotine in certain states.
