Are you ready to be an integral part of the healthcare team at Baystate Health? Being a surgical technician at Baystate Health provides you with the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Level One trauma Center. As a valued member of the patient care team, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, bringing your expertise to a wide variety of procedures.

Trauma, Robotics, heart and vascular, plastics, kidney transplant, orthopedics, pediatrics, and more - at Baystate Health, you'll be part of an amazing spectrum of services and surgeries.


Responsibilities:

As a Surgical Technologist at Baystate Health, you will work under the guidance of surgeons and physicians to ensure the safe and effective conduct of surgical procedures. Your expertise in aseptic techniques, human anatomy, and surgical processes will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care. You will be accountable for maintaining skills and knowledge in alignment with departmental policies.


Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, you must have completed an Associates of Science program in Surgical Technology, along with relevant certifications such as AST Certification and CPR-American Heart Association BLS. Previous experience in a surgical facility is also required.
