Job Responsibilities

  • Menu Development: Create and update seasonal menus that meet our high-quality standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee daily operations, including staff management, food safety, and monitoring food and labor costs.
  • Recipe and Technique Innovation: Develop and implement new recipes and cooking techniques.
  • Ingredient Sourcing: Establish relationships with local suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.
  • Staff Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring dishes are prepared, cooked, and plated to perfection.
  • Kitchen Organization: Maintain an efficient and well-organized kitchen, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work with the management team on budgeting, forecasting, and menu planning to meet financial targets.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with industry trends and customer preferences to continuously attract and delight our patrons.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven track record as an Executive Chef or in a similar role, with strong menu development and kitchen management experience.
  • Culinary Expertise: Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Industry Best Practices: Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and lead a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment.
