• We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic development team.

Technical Expertise: Development and refinement of the test program and approach.

Customer Interface Support: Provide support for defect clarification and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), acting as a liaison between the development team and customers.

Progress Reporting: Regularly prepare and present progress reports to keep stakeholders informed of testing status and any issues.

Test Process Implementation: Establish and maintain an efficient and effective test process to streamline testing activities and enhance product quality.

Smoke Testing: Conduct smoke testing following deployments to ensure basic functionality is intact before more extensive testing.

Product Demos: Assist with product demonstrations to end users, showcasing new features and functionalities.

UAT Process Management: Manage the UAT process when required, ensuring that all tests are conducted thoroughly and results are accurately reported.

Documentation: Ensure that all test-product documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date, providing a clear record of testing activities and results.

Requirements:

Microsoft DevOps/TFS: Proficiency with Microsoft DevOps, also known as Team Foundation Server, for managing development and testing workflows.

SCRUM Methodology: Understanding and experience with SCRUM methodology to effectively participate in agile development processes.

Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and the ability to self-start and progress without constant supervision.

Professionalism: Exhibit a high level of professionalism in all interactions, maintaining a positive and respectful demeanor.

Flexible Hours: Willingness to work flexible hours, typically 37.5 hours per week, but with the availability to work additional hours as needed during the Legislative Session, as well as the ability to work when deployments occur after business hours.
