We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team at Advanced Care Pediatrics, a medical model childcare setting for children with complex medical needs.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to our individuals, ensuring their safety, well-being, and optimal development.
Clinical Care:
Document all care actions and individual responses to treatment in medical records.
Manage vital signs, interpret data, and identify potential concerns.
Administer various respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, CPT, suctioning, and pulse oximetry monitoring.
Provide skilled personal hygiene assistance while maintaining dignity and respect.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and goals.
Foster normal development and psychosocial adaptation through therapeutic interventions.
Effectively communicate with families and staff regarding individual care plans, updates, and concerns.
Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care coordination.
Provide information and guidance regarding community resources available to families.
Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act, company policies, and ethical standards of nursing practice.
Two or more years of pediatric nursing experience, with at least six months caring for medically or technology-dependent children.
Demonstrated pediatric nursing experience within the past 24 months, providing care for acutely or chronically ill children.Preferred experience in neonatal, PICU, or critical care, including ventilator management, tracheostomy care, G-tube feeding, IV and central line care.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications.Strong visual and hearing acuity.
