The ideal candidate will have a strong background in object-oriented programming, particularly Python, along with advanced SQL expertise. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Synapse is highly preferred. Knowledge of Databricks is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
  • Optimize and tune database queries and performance.
  • Implement best practices for data security, integrity, and reliability.
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to support their data needs.
  • Automate deployment processes using continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services, preferably Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Synapse.
  • Familiarity with Databricks is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
