Position Overview
- Hourly Wage: $17.50
- Manage storage requisitions for Plants 1 & 2, distributing materials accordingly
- Conduct daily inventories and generate reports on packaging supplies, spices, and operational resources
- Adhere to USDA standards by maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and equipment
- Resolve issues through effective communication with production supervisors, forepersons, and other relevant departments
- Keep detailed records of received and issued materials, ensure proper documentation from external vendors
- Notify superiors of any material shortages, monitor material waste, and facilitate material staging for production shifts
- Assist in equipment loading and unloading tasks, focusing on enhancing quality and food safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and maintain organization
- Effective communication skills, including proficiency in written and verbal English
- Numerical proficiency to manage inventories
- Hold a valid California driver's license with a good safety track record
- Possess a Foster Farms Safety License
- Capability to lift up to 100 pounds, handle boxes above shoulder level, and work at heights
- Comfortable with climbing ladders and entering/exiting trucks frequently
- Successful completion of a background check
