You'll have the opportunity to work on a fresh product catering to KDP authors and customers, developing roadmaps, and collaborating across various Amazon departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with seasoned cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceptualize, design, and launch innovative products and services.
- Architect and implement cutting-edge technologies within a vast distributed computing ecosystem, spearheading fundamental industry changes.
- Create solutions enabling predictive analytics on distributed systems, leveraging cutting-edge technologies at remarkable scale and speed.
- Construct scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost distributed storage, indexing, and querying systems that are easy to manage and utilize.
- Devise and implement optimal solutions, commencing with broadly defined problems.
- Operate in an agile setting to deliver top-notch software.

Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience (excluding internships).
- 2+ years of design or architectural experience in new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience throughout the software development life cycle, encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Salary Information:
Our compensation aligns with labor costs across various US markets. Base pay for this role ranges from $129,300/year to $223,600/year, dependent on location and factors like expertise and experience. Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package, encompassing equity, sign-on bonuses, and additional benefits. Visit our site for more details.
