About the Company: Intrado's Life & Safety division plays a crucial role in our daily lives by ensuring seamless handling of emergency 9-1-1 calls, including call routing, delivery, location determination, and data management, ultimately aiding first responders in saving lives.



Job Summary:



The Full Stack Java Developer will lead the development of cost-effective technical solutions and services that align with the Company's business requirements by working on intricate software projects. This role involves guiding various activities throughout the software development life cycle and providing direction to the development team.



Responsibilities:


  • Designing, developing, and testing software enhancements according to specifications
  • Debugging and maintaining existing software functionality
  • Leading and participating in design reviews, documenting decisions, and conducting relevant research
  • Engaging in project planning, estimation, and agile software development ceremonies
  • Staying informed about new products, development tools, industry trends, and methodologies
  • Participating in business meetings to understand and address the company's goals and objectives
  • Analyzing functional and performance requirements to support design architecture and providing alternative solutions when necessary
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues throughout projects while maintaining constant communication with the project team and management

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field required
  • Minimum of three years of programming experience in Java or a standard coding platform
  • Strong skills in React, Redux, and Material-UI
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, core JS, and some UI design
  • Proficiency in analytical skills, software design, testing, and development
  • Experience with agile software development teams

Technical Skills:


  • Knowledge of one program platform (Windows, Unix, Linux) as per departmental requirements
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
  • Experience in developing applications for Public Cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, MVC pattern, Git, SQL, and relational databases
  • Experience in agile software development and VOIP is considered advantageous
