You will be at the forefront of providing crisis intervention and mental health support services, offering immediate counseling to those in distress and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for timely care.

Role Overview:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine clients' mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with school systems to deliver mental health education and crisis support.
  • Create and execute personalized treatment plans based on assessments.
  • Offer evidence-based counseling using various therapeutic techniques.
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling for acute mental health crises.
  • Perform quick risk assessments and develop safety plans
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to address crisis-related symptoms.
  • Work in coordination with professionals like psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers to ensure holistic care.
  • Contribute to enhancing mental health services through program initiatives.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in mental health counseling.

Requirements:

  • Hold a State of Ohio LSW/LISW or LPC/LPCC license.
  • Completion of a bachelor's or master's level program.
  • Prior experience in a community mental health agency is a bonus.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Display cultural competence in working with diverse clients.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.
