Sutter Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for a floating position.

The successful candidate will perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics, competently and in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

The responsibilities include performing stress echo, stress testing as well as all commonly performed outpatient adult echocardiography.


This position requires an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program and current certification: RCS (CCI)-Registered Cardiac Sonographer or ARDMS (RDCS AE for adult or RDCS PE for pediatric).

The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of computer applications, and ability to identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions.

Ability to work independently and as part of the team, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and ensure the privacy of each patient's PHI.

The position includes travel to cover needs of surrounding clinics. The job pays $61.10 to $76.37 per hour.
