Job Description

Rad Tech Responsibilities

  • Performing diagnostic imaging procedures using fluoroscopy (C-Arm) equipment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Operating and maintaining imaging C-Arm equipment for pain management procedures, positioning patients accurately for imaging and adjusting equipment settings as necessary.
  • Reviewing and evaluating images for quality and clarity, ensuring visibility of all required anatomical structures.
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide precise diagnoses.
  • Keeping patient records and documenting procedures performed.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, sterile work environment.
QualificationsCompletion of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist.Knowledge of fluoroscopy for pain management procedures.Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control procedures.Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients for imaging procedures.Effective operation and troubleshooting of imaging equipment.Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and support staff.Attention to detail for accurate image capture and interpretation.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities.Performing maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment as directed.Assisting with patient workups and inputting patient information into EHR system.Maintaining proper patient images and documentation.Pain management experience is a plus.
