Overview:


We are looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in Testng, Selenium, and Java coding. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing automation frameworks rather than solely relying on existing ones.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience with a Masters degree, or 10+ years with a Bachelors, in software development focusing on test automation
  • Experience with open source test automation technologies and/or proprietary frameworks is a must
  • Proficiency in API testing (SOAP and MicroServices)
  • Experience in UI and Mobile Testing
  • Knowledge of test frameworks such as Junit, TestNG
  • Understanding of BDD and/or Cucumber
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
  • Proficient with code versioning tools like Git, SVN
  • Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries for validation
  • Practicing Scrum/Agile methodologies
  • Effective application debugging abilities
  • Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira
  • Experience in using defect management and test management tools
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic environment requiring resourcefulness, determination, and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and self-driven with excellent written and verbal communication skills
