** The ideal candidate for this role will be located in the Eastern Time Zone, near our facilities in Andover, MA or Rock Hill, SC and be able to work in a hybrid fashion. Remote work arrangements are also an option.

As a Contract Manager for the Photonics Solutions Division (PSD), you will partner with our team in the US, Europe and around the globe to ensure our customer and channel partner contracting maintains a robust control environment in compliance with company policies, procedures and risk tolerance, and to evaluate and improve the operational effectiveness of our contracting practices and procedures.

You will make an impact by:

  • Drafting, coordinating, reviewing, negotiating and maintaining agreements used in the sale of products and services.
  • Managing the contracting process from end-to-end with internal business owners and stakeholders and external customers.
  • Collaborating closely with various functions, including sales, legal, operations, finance and business units.
  • Reviewing contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal.
  • Ensuring contract terms and conditions are negotiated in the best interest of MKS to mitigate business risk and maximize financial objectives.
  • Establishing a standardized processes to ensure compliance with the internal policies, procedures, control standards and guidelines of the company.
  • Delivering periodic commercial risks-related training to the sales and business teams.

Skills you bring:

  • A bachelor's degree or above or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in contract management preferably in a technology industry and in and international company
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken. Fluency in German or French a plus.
  • Excellent business judgment and problem-solving skills .
  • Well-organized, flexible, pragmatic and solution-oriented with good business acumen, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to convey complex information that others can readily follow.
  • A team player who is collaborative, proactive and self-motivated.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Pay Range: $ 97, ,700.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
