Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year in Winston Salem, NC. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing speech and language services to a caseload of 50 students from Pre-K to 12th grade.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language requirements.
  • Create and execute customized treatment plans and objectives for each student.
  • Deliver therapy services to students individually and in groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to aid students in achieving communication objectives.
  • Track and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans when needed.
  • Take part in IEP meetings and assist in crafting IEPs.
  • Offer training and resources to school staff and parents to support students' speech and language needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Prior school experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working collaboratively within a team.
  • Dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Pay Rate: $40/hr + based on experience
