RKCS is a prime government contractor providing IT Services to various state, local and federal agencies since 1998.

For one of these agencies, RKCS requires a GIS Database Architect to design and maintain GIS databases for the customers' spatial data management activities.

Our ideal candidate is an ArcGIS SME with expertise in design, deployment and management of ArcGIS data.

Responsibilities:

· Designs databases that leverage GIS-only data types – networks, topology, relationship classes, utility networks, etc.

· Designs database to include ArcGIS-native organizational configurations – domains, subtypes, etc.

· Designs data and databases following GIS data standards

· Manages ArcGIS SDE

· Deploys and manages ArcGIS data versioning and branching

· Manages granting and revoking data permissions

· Use Azure App Services as the primary infrastructure for software development.

· Code using ArcGIS JavaScript API to integrate ArcGIS Portal data with the front end Module.

· Follow Agile development methodology.

  • Assist with UAT testing and data validation

· Authors, curates, and ensures efficient documentation and metadata for GIS end users

100% REMOTE

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years as a GIS Database Architect role
  • 10 to 15 years as a developer/programmer with GIS systems
  • Expertise with Esri GIS products including GIS PRO/Enterprise
  • Expertise with database modeling/design and integrations
  • Exp integrating into .NET platform experience using relevant JavaScript API
  • Experience developing in Azure App Services architecture.
