Shift Details: 36 hours per week, from 7am to 7:30pm. Work includes every other weekend and holiday shifts.

Supported by a team of skilled professionals, the hospital delivers a broad range of patient care services across the region, catering to individuals from all walks of life.
This role involves working in a 26-bed medical unit with telemetry capabilities. The unit holds the Stroke Center of Excellence designation from the Joint Commission. Staffed by Registered Nurses, Nurse Assistants, Administrative Support Staff, and round-the-clock Physicians and Mid-level providers, the team utilizes cutting-edge technology, including Electronic Patient Records.
Our staff collaborates in a diverse workspace, fostering teamwork in a patient-centric care model. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) delivers nursing care in line with regulations and hospital policies, guided by medical staff directives. The RN uses the nursing process to devise care plans meeting various patient needs, ensuring personalized care incorporating individual age groups.
Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
- Preference for one-year Acute Care RN experience, though Graduate Nurses are welcomed
