BANK MARKET PRESIDENT POSITION SUMMARY

• Provides leadership and direction for designated location(s), focusing on maintaining and building relationships, developing new business, loan supervision, marketing, and managing financials and daily operations of the bank.
• Directs and oversees staff performance, employee evaluations, compliance with bank policies, goal setting, and maintaining high loan credit quality.
• Implements corporate objectives in line with policies set by the CEO and Board of Directors.

BANK MARKET PRESIDENT PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Communicates and implements strategic plans and procedures.
2. Supports the EVP in planning for financial success.
3. Identifies and contacts customers for new products and services.
4. Establishes and maintains new banking relationships and business prospects for revenue growth.
5. Maintains high customer confidence and leadership role within the bank and community.
6. Engages in market loan staff activities including loan approvals, compliance, and quality monitoring.
7. Develops and defines loan administration procedures and policies.
8. Stays informed on industry trends and regulations.
9. Manages operational activities, staff oversight, and facilities maintenance.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline or comparable experience.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years in banking or lending with extensive credit knowledge and strong sales skills.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of loan policies and procedures, advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Strong math skills, exceptional organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, monitor employee engagement, and maintain a positive working environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising staff, training, assigning work, performance appraisal, and addressing complaints.
