Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the direct supervision of the Cardiovascular Director/Supervisor, the Cardiology Staff RN provides direct patient care to patients undergoing non-invasive cardiac procedures according to defined protocols. Duties include administration of medications, monitoring of patient vital signs/EKG and performance of continual patient assessment during cardiac stress procedures, TEEs, cardioversions and other procedures as needed. Coordinates patient teaching and post procedure assessment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current state of Missouri RN licensure required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in any of the following areas: Telemetry, PCU, ICU, CC, or Cath Lab
- No call required
