When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.13 weeks assignment, 2 years' experience current required inan 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required.

Must be a team player,flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one13-week travel assignment. At alternate location-Will float to med/surg. Willfloat to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU. Will float to ED tocare for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.

CERTIFICATIONS:
BLS, ACLS, and
NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLSmust be completed through American Heart Association, American Health andSafety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler mustpass the BCA testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not passthe BCA test will be dismissed.

SHIFT:
12 hour N shift position.

Start time 1900 Weekend requirements - 3 per schedule minimum - Floating requirements - yes - like units across CDS - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.

On call, weekends and holidays may be required.

*please note all travelers within CDS are required to float to all areas in which they are trained including ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients.

This includes PresNow ED/UCs - Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Ratios 1:4 will go 1:5/6 if needed based on acuity of patients.

ORIENTATION:
1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training

SCRUBS:
required and not provided by the facility. White scrub top. Scrub pants in sangria red, plum purple, hunter green or black.
